Wireless Clocks
The Primex Master-Satellite Time System automatically synchronizes
clocks on the system via a signal from the U.S. government¹s
Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites. Powered by solar
panels and containing highly accurate atomic clocks, the
24 GPS satellites transmit time signals picked up by the
Primex Wireless receiver, which can easily be mounted on
a roof or window.
Once mounted, the receiver is connected by an RS 232 cable
to a transmitter. Using a licensed FCC FM 72 MHz radio signal,
the transmitter then rebroadcasts the time signal to the
Primex Wireless satellite clocks throughout the building
or facility.
The result is unparalleled accuracy. All clocks on the system
are automatically synchronized with the official U.S. atomic
time and with each other.
